HR Safety Meeting: 

Tuesday, July 8th: Meet at HRHD store at 6:00 pm....join us for a Safety Class and learn about "Riding Straight".  A different topic every month.  Snacks provided.  Safety Instructor's are: Walter Groesbeck & Dwain Marlowe.  Tel: 872-7223.

Saturday, July 12th, 2008:  Do NOT miss this ride to a genuine "moonshine distillery" near Culpepper, VA.  Depart HRHD at 8:00 am for a great ride through the Virginia country-side.  This is a HOG Bucks event.  Road Captain is Lisa Pritt.  Tel:  357-2370.

 

 

*HR HOG Chapt Meeting: 

Wednesday, July 16th:  Join us for the HOG meeting starting at 7:00 PM and Come out and visit with your friends and meet the new members that want to meet you!  This is a HOG Bucks event.  Lifetouch Photos will be there taking pictures all day, and the next day, and the next day, and the next........  Location will be at the Hampton Roads H-D store and HOG Pen area.  See you there.  Dinner ride after the meeting will be at Kelsey's restaurant on Route 17.  Lisa Pritt will be leading the way.......POC:  Alan McKeag Tel: 890-9286.

 

 

HRHD Open House:

Saturday, July 19th:   Come on down to Hampton Roads Harley-Davidson in Yorktown for a "wheel of a deal" Open House.  There will be specials, discounts and great savings all day long!  The LOH Fund Raiser will be "Christmas in July".  Don't miss this great fund raiser by the "Prettiest Bikers on the Peninsula".......who said Christmas only comes once a year?  All funds raised go directly to support the Toys For Tots Ride held on November 2, 2008.     POC:  Tel: 872-7223.

Sunday, July 20, 2008:  Join the Blue Knight's Motorcycle Club as they hold a fund raiser for the Laurel (Domestic Violence) Shelter.  Ride start time and location to be announced in next email.......

Saturday, July 27th:  Join the LOH Club for their monthly ride as they depart HRHD at 11:00 am for Olivia's Restaurant on main Street in Gloucester, VA.  This is a HR LOH HOG Bucks event!  Road Captain: Dana Mann- tel: (757) 880-7000.

 

 

HR HOG CHAPT & HRHD EMPLOYEES DIRECTORY: Beginning with the HOG Chapter Meeting on July 16th, our HOG Chapter Photographer and Historian, Joan Minarik is sponsoring a "Chapter & HRHD Employee Photo Directory" to commemorate the 30 Years of Hampton Roads Harley-Davidson and 20th Anniversary of the HR HOG Chapter. 

 

What this means is that on July 16th; and August 20th we will have photographers at HRHD from 1:00 - 7:00 pm to take pictures of all employees and HOG Members pictures with their motorcycle, wife, friends, children, etc....at absolutely NO CHARGE to you....and you will receive an 8 X 10 photograph and a copy of the Directory - free of charge. Additionally, we will have photographers at HRHD on July 17th, 18th, and 19th from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm for appointments.  The Directory will be a compilation of pictures, of employees and HOG members with their "favorite motorcycle", family, friends, etc....with a directory of HOG Members & Employee's. 

 

There will be a HR HOG Chapter & LOH photo in front of HRHD store on Wednesday, August 20th (also the ice cream social night) that will be included in the Directory!

 

The project will be funded and paid for by any persons purchasing pictures above and beyond the one free 8 X 10.

 

POC is Joan Minarik.  She will provide more information at each of the HOG Chapter meetings and have appointment forms for you to reserve your time slot. This is your opportunity to get those family portraits and Christmas cards done early and on your Harley.!!
